Debossing

Debossing is used to create a stamp with a particular pattern in items such as diaries and notebooks. This method of branding creates a professional corporate gifts that represents a company’s brand elegantly. This technique is growing in popularity among corporates as it gives promotional items a classy and professional finish. Similarly, the kinds of items that are debossed are products such as diaries, and these always come in handy.

Digital Printing On Bags

This is the process whereby a digital image is directly printed onto various materials. There are a number of ways in which this can be done, and which way depends on what the desired material is.  Vinyl stickers are digitally printed and are fairly limited due to the use of only the primary printing colours cyan, magenta, yellow and black. However, should you not require metallic colours, they are ideal for labelling items.  Domed stickers are vinyl stickers that have been coated with a resin that makes them appear 3D. These domes stickers work excellently with specific kinds of promotional gifts, like key rings. The technique used is excellent for producing colourful logos in excellent quality.  Heat transfer allows for printing complex patterns digitally that screen printers cannot achieve. The logo is printed onto a vinyl surface and is then transferred to the desired item through heat transfer.

Digital Transfer Printing

Digital transfer printing is ideal for ceramic, metal and certain kinds of plastic, namely those that are hard and rigid. If you’re thinking of running a promotional gifts campaign with mugs and flasks, digital transfer is how you will get your company’s logo onto the items.
The process involves digitally printing the logo onto transfer paper. However, before the image can be transferred, the promotional item must be treated with a special chemical. Once this has been done, the transfer paper with the design is placed onto the item and thus, transferred. Following this, another chemical is placed onto the item so as to seal the transfer.
The result is a permanent placement of your business’s logo onto a useful promotional product that will be enjoyed for years to come.

Embroidery

Embroidery is used primarily for clothing and it produces an item that looks sleek and professional. Furthermore, when done correctly, it will last for years. Embroidery machines are able to produce a large variety of colours. The almost endless possibilities for this type of branding are what make it so popular among businesses for corporate clothing.
As the embroidery is done using machines that are driven by computers, the result is an immaculate logo woven into a cap or golf shirt. Similarly, these machines are able to produce relatively fine detail.
Embroidery is an excellent way to brand clothing and will always be a good investment when done professionally through Ambella.

Pad Printing

Pad printing is excellent to use on a number of items for transferring logos and company details, particularly those that are difficult to print on, such as pens and key rings. They are also the perfect way to print a lot of items quickly, but still retain quality.
It works by using a plate that is imprinted with the desired design. This is placed into ink within a special pad printing machine. A silicone pad then transfers the ink with the design onto the promotional item. Once this is complete, the item then undergoes a process whereby the ink is bonded to it. This typically involves passing it through an oven to “set” it.

Sublimation Printing

Sublimation only works on artificial, man-made materials, such as polyester. There is a large assortment of items that are ideal for this kind of branding process, from clothes like nylon t-shirts, to umbrellas, a perfect gift for the rainy months.
Sublimation allows for colour printing that is accurate and long-lasting. Images are printed digitally and so allow for a great deal of detail and precision. The design is digitally printed onto transfer paper with special kinds of inks. The transfer paper with the logo is placed onto the promotional gift, after which heat is applied so as to complete transfer.

Laser Engraving

Using laser engraving to brand a promotional item produces a flawless design. Laser engraving is highly accurate and is able to replicate a company’s logo perfectly, which ensures a consistent corporate identity, which is key to reaching wider audiences through brand awareness.
Clients are able to engrave in colour and in black and white, depending on the colour of the laser used. We are also able to employ laser engraving on a wide range of promotional items, from metal to organic products. We simply adjust the type of laser used – YAG or CO2 – so as to ensure that the items retain their original quality.

Screen Printing

Screen printing is ideal for placing logos and company details onto a range of materials, from clothes to canvas. The process uses a technique that involves light exposure, and a stencil of the logo that is to be printed onto the item. Screen printing is also known as silkscreen printing due to the fabric that is used in the process. Ink is pushed through the silkscreen and the stencil using a fill blade, and with Ambella, the result is a beautifully printed logo on a promotional item.
Clients can choose to print in black and white or in colour and the detail is excellent. However, note that it is not quite perfect; super fine details should be avoided so that bleeding of the ink does not occur.
